As part of our three threads of activities, Agorama is gearing up to being its Artistic Research and Development Residency Programme!
The project is lead by our curator Inês Costa, who has a number of exhibitions under her belt, ranging from and excellent programme in the formally known space The Window Space Gallery, which was located in London Metropolitan University’s former Central House building; more recently she curated the collaborative online/offline exhibition Geltung[Validity]: perception of a natural right, which was part of the North East of North (NEoN) 2017 Digital Festival in Dundee.
While Agorama’s main focus is currently on peer-to-peer technology and cultivating a DIY network and community of creative practitioners, the residency programme represents the collectives artistic linage and ideology of experimental play. Selected artists will be invited into our workshop studio and encouraged to create new experimental works that help further develop their practice, and achieve projects that were potential unrealisable through collaborative help from Agorama’s network and professional practitioners.
Each artist in residency will give a series of public talks, workshops and lectures about the work they are developing. Please stay tuned for more updates on this exciting thread of activities!
